Architectural Metal: MIRROR METALS
Treasure Island Casino was designed by YWS Architects of Las Vegas, Nevada and completed in 2006.
The northeast side entry is framed by two large winged architectural metal elements. These “wings” are constructed of steel tubing and aluminum components, clad with an aluminum sheet sub-surface, and finished with stainless steel skins.
To create a color distinction between the two wings, each wing was supplied with a different type of architectural metal. The east wing was finished using a #6 Hairline brushed stainless steel surface. The west wing was finished with Ti-Copper PVD coated stainless steel panels for a copper hue.
Mirror Metals supplied Alloy T304 #6 Hairline and Ti-Copper PVD. Each wing is approximately 32′ tall.
